• Average property prices of £317,500 in 2022, increasing by 5.9% from £299,950 in 2021. 
• 7.8% of homes are 1 bedroom properties, 21.6% are 2 bedrooms, 37.9% are 3 bedrooms, 32.7% are 4 or more (compared to the 21.1% average for England and Wales). 
• Occupancy ratings for bedrooms: 
  • 47.3% have 2 or more spare bedrooms, 
  • 32.3% have 1 spare bedroom, 
  • 19% have the correct number of bedrooms for the household need, 
  • 1.4% are lacking 1 bedroom

Renting in Dartington

• Average 2 bed rental prices of £975 per calendar month between 2020 and 2022 (median). 
• The maximum Local Housing Allowance is £598.35 per month for a 2 bed property. 
• In the TQ9 postcode area, there has been a 41.4% decrease in demand for rental properties, whilst there has been a 20.5% increase in available listings, when comparing Oct 22 and Oct 23. 
• During the same period, there has been a 1.7% decrease in the asking price on Rental Properties in the TQ9 postcode area.
