• Average property prices of £436,250 in 2022, increasing by 24.6% from £350,000 in 2021. 
• 7.6% of homes are 1 bedroom properties, 38.6% are 2 bedrooms, 35.6% are 3 bedrooms, 18.1% are 4 or more (which is lower than the average for England and Wales). 
• Occupancy ratings for bedrooms: 
  • 35.9% have 2 or more spare bedrooms, 
  • 37.7% have 1 spare bedroom, 
  • 23.8% have the correct number of bedrooms for their household needs, and
  • 2.6% are lacking 1 bedroom.

Renting in Malborough

• Average 2 bed rental prices of £795 per calendar month between 2020 and 2022. 
• The maximum Local Housing Allowance is £598.35 per month for a 2 bed property. 
• In the TQ7 postcode area, there has been a 63.9% increase in demand for rental properties, whilst there has been a 15% increase in available listings, in the period between Nov 22 and Nov 23. 
• During the same period, there has been a 11.8% decrease in the asking price on Rental Properties in the TQ7 postcode area.
