• Median average property prices of £313,533 in 2022, increasing by 17.2% from £267,574 in 2021. 
  • It should be noted that house prices within the parish have fluctuated in recent years, but experiencing an overall increase on pre-pandemic years. 
• 6.3% of homes are 1 bedroom properties, 27.3% are 2 bedrooms, 35.4% are 3 bedrooms, 30.9% are 4 or more (which is higher than the 21.1% average for England and Wales). 
• Occupancy ratings for bedrooms: 
  • 46.1% have 2 or more spare bedrooms, 
  • 36.9% have 1 spare bedroom, 
  • 16% have the right amount of bedrooms for their households,
  • 0.7% are lacking 1 bedroom, 
  • 0.2% are lacking 2 or more bedrooms.

Renting in Aveton Gifford

• Average 2 bed private rental prices of £795 per calendar month between 2020 and 2022 (median). 
• The maximum Local Housing Allowance is £598.35 per month for a 2 bed property 
• In the TQ7 postcode area, there has been a 0.3% decrease in demand for rental properties, whilst there has been a 4.5% decrease in available listings, when comparing Jan 22 and Jan 23.
