• Median average property prices of £349,000 in 2022, increasing by 24.6% from £280,000 in 2021.
• 14.3% of homes are 1 bedroom properties, 26.2% are 2 bedrooms, 41.5% are 3 bedrooms, 18% are 4 or more (which is less than the 21.1%average for England and Wales). 
• Occupancy ratings for bedrooms:
  • 39.3% have 2 or more spare bedrooms
  • 33.2%  have 1 spare bedroom
  • 25.7% have the right amount of bedrooms for their households
  • 1.6% are lacking 1 bedroom
  • 0.1% are lacking 2 or more bedrooms

Renting in Kingsbridge

• Average 3 bed rental prices of £1,100 per calendar month between 2020 and 2022 (median).
• The maximum Local Housing Allowance is £728 per month for a 3 bed property 
• In the TQ7 postcode area, there has been a 110.5%increase in demand for rental properties, whilst there has been a 40.5% increase in the number of available listings, in the period between Oct 22 and Oct 23.
• In the same period, there has been a 29.3% decrease in the asking price on Rental Properties in the TQ7 postcode area.

Kingsbridge Primary School
