Housing is one of our top priorities, highlighted in our new Council Plan.
We want to help tackle the housing crisis by providing new and genuinely affordable new homes for local people.
We are helping by:
- Building our own homes
- Supporting communities to deliver new homes in their area
- Investing in more homes for our urgent and long term needs
- Working with our partners to offer more low-cost ownership homes for local people
- Providing more opportunities for our residents to get onto the property ladder, through Shared Ownership or with the support of our Step on Scheme
