If you want to pay for parking through your phone at one of our Council owned car parks, you will now need to use the PayByPhone app (previously RingGo). If you prefer to pay by cash at one of our machines, don’t worry you still can.
Cllr Victor Abbott, Executive Member for Community Services and Operations, South Hams District Council, said, “We’re looking forward to working with our new cashless parking provider, PayByPhone. As a Council, we are always looking at ways that we can improve our efficiencies and services for our residents. If you haven’t already, then please download the PayByPhone app now so it’s handy on your phone when you need it to pay for parking.”
Adam Dolphin, Managing Director UK for PayByPhone, says, “We are thrilled to launch PayByPhone in the South Hams, helping to simplify the parking experience for residents and visitors to this wonderful area.
“We are confident PayByPhone can make a positive difference to the parking experience. And by offering the additional features geared towards general vehicle management in one simple full-service app, we help users to get on with what matters most to them without having to worry about parking.”
