Market Traders Grant - How to apply
From December 2024, eligible organisations with a relevant project will be able to fill out an online application form. In addition, the South Hams District Council Economy & Place team will be holding drop-in sessions at each of our markets to assist market traders through the application process. If traders wish to apply at one of the drop-in sessions, they will need to bring a copy of a recent bank statement from the account used for business purposes and be able to provide either their Ltd company number, UTR number or charity number.
The application form will require the following information:
- Details about the organisation
- A summary of the market trading activities (existing or proposed) and how the grant will support these activities
- Where items are not being purchased through SHDC, we will need to know which organisation(s) will be delivering the project for your business, and how they were selected
- Detail which items are requested from the prescribed list above
- Breakdown of total project costs (both for SHDC and non SHDC funded items)
