Statement of Community Involvement

Major applications

Applicants are strongly encouraged to:

Seek pre-application advice from the council and statutory consultees
Write and regularly review a Consultation Strategy for the proposal, in consultation with the Council, taking into account the Statement of Community Involvement
Consult local communities in accordance with the Consultation Strategy
Consider the consultation responses received and submit a document explaining how it has influenced the planning application.
