Structural Survey
Required for conversion of existing barns/buildings in the countryside, to establish that the structure of the building is adequate for the conversion without significant structural works or rebuild.
A Structural Survey, carried out by a qualified structural engineer, should include:
- How structurally sound the building is in its current state.
- Whether the building is capable of conversion without significant extension, alteration or rebuilding.
- The nature and extent of works that will be required to achieve the proposed development.
