Sport Facilities

Required for all applications that involve loss or change of sports facilities. Please also refer to the OSSR Section of this guide.

Guidance

Where applications will result in a loss of playing fields or loss or change of other facilities Sports England will be consulted and require:

Plans showing extent of playing field area lost
Justification for chosen location and alternatives considered
Any changes in provision of sports facilities
How replacement facilities of equal or better quality will be achieved and maintained
