How do I find the planning history of a site or obtain copies of documents relating to a planning application?

Please note this is a chargeable service. Our staff will check our records and provide a list of planning applications relating to a site, or you can request electronic copies of plans, documents or decision notices for a particular planning application. Documents for up to 3 applications can be retrieved per request
What documents can the Council provide?
The following documents are available:
- Planning agreements such as Section 106, Section 52 and Unilateral undertakings
- Planning decision notices
- Tree Preservation Orders
- Enforcement Notices
- Listed Building Enforcement Notices
- Listed Building designations
Most planning decision notices dating from 1998 onwards can be found on our website. Please use Search for a Planning Application.
