What if the test pit fails to empty or the infiltration rate is too low?
If the test shows that the ground is unsuitable for soakaways then you will need to look at an off-site solution to manage the surface water.
You will still need to provide the results of the failed test as evidence that the drainage hierarchy has been followed and soakaways have been considered as the first choice.
