Designation of a Conservation Area on 3 October 1985 under Section 277 of the Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 (as amended by Section 1 of the Town and Country Amenities Act, 1974).
The Conservation Area was extended on 1 July 2009 under the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
