The area is defined by a line commencing at the Slipway, thence running north-east along the sea wall, then south-east along the north-east side of the road running behind the coastguard houses. From there it runs south along the east boundaries of the curtilages of these houses and of Homelands, of Little Fancy and of Ivy Cottage.
It continues along the south curtilage boundaries of Ivy Cottage and Old Thatch, and then north-west along the south-west boundary of the two plots to the south-west of the Methodist Church. It continues along the south-western rear boundaries of Orchard Cottage, Driftwood, Hope Cove Hotel, The Rocket House, May Villa, and the Lifeboat Station.
