Dartmouth Park and Ride
The Park and Ride service will open from 25 March until 29 October 2023
Dartmouth park and ride offers a convenient way of travelling into the town centre.
Location
The service runs from the car park just outside Dartmouth on the A3122, where it joins with the A379 by Lidl and Sainsbury's supermarkets, to Dartmouth town centre. Use the postcode TQ6 0JL.
Buy Tickets
- All day tickets cost £5.00
- After 2.00 p.m. tickets are reduced to £3.00
- A ticket covers up to 6 people
- You can buy tickets using RingGo or from the pay and display machines in the car park
- Dogs are permitted on the park and ride bus
If you buy a ticket from the machine, you will need to display one part in your vehicle and show the other part to the driver.
If you are parking over more than one day, you will need to buy a new all-day ticket at 8 a.m. each day. You can use the RingGo service to do this without having to return to your vehicle every time.
Using RingGo
RingGo Park and Ride now lets you pay for your park and ride by phone. As with normal sessions, you pay by calling the number shown in the car park, then quote the location code (3480), and your credit or debit card details.
Once you have completed the call, you will be sent a text message confirming your payment. Show this message (which includes a special identification code) to the bus driver and you will be allowed onto the bus.
If you have a smartphone you can also use the RingGo App to pay and manage your parking.

The park and ride is a seasonal service operating from 25 March 2022 and the end of October 2022. There are occasionally out of season services for special events.

Times may vary according to circumstances.
Returning from Dartmouth after 7 p.m.
If you return from the town after the normal operating hours you will be able to use the Stagecoach South West bus service from Dartmouth. It does not stop in the car park stop. It stops at a bus stop a very short distance away in the main road.
