Making a Complaint
We realise that sometimes things can go wrong, and people are not always happy with the service they receive from the Council.
Complaints are extremely valuable to us because they give us the opportunity to put things right if there have been mistakes and, just as importantly, to improve our services to make sure that the same mistakes are not repeated in the future.
Our complaints policy explains everything you need to know about our complaints process.
To make a complaint online please visit our complaints page for guidance and then fill in our online form.
You can also submit a complaint to us by:
- emailing us at complaints@swdevon.gov.uk
- speaking to customer services by phone. The number is 01803 861234
- writing to us or speaking to us in person at our office:
South Hams District Council
Follaton House
Plymouth Road
Totnes
TQ9 5NE
If your complaint has been dealt with and you are not happy with the outcome you can seek further help and support from the Housing Ombudsman. They are free to use, impartial and will investigate fairly.
