Deadline for registering to vote at this election: Friday 11 April
Deadline for receiving new applications to vote by post: 5 p.m. on Monday 14 April
Deadline to change current postal or proxy vote arrangements: 5 p.m. on Monday 14 April
Publication of Notice of Poll: By Wednesday 23 April
Deadline to apply for a Voter Authority Certificate: 5 p.m. on Wednesday 23 April
Deadline for receiving new proxy vote applications: 5 p.m. on Wednesday 23 April
First day to issue replacements for lost/undelivered postal ballot papers: Friday 25 April
Polling Day: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday 1 May
If you apply to vote by post, postal ballots will be sent out on Wednesday 16 April. However, if you apply after the 24 March your postal vote may not be posted until 22 April. If you are going away and you are concerned that your postal ballot may not be received before you leave, you may wish to consider applying for a proxy vote instead.
