Salary: Starting salary £21,589 per annum rising to salary band: £25,801 - £28,785 per annum once training in all aspects of the role has been completed + 6 Months Shift Allowance

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the staff at Salcombe Harbour as a Moorings Officer. In this role you will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the harbour and be the Harbour Master's representative on the water. Responsibilities not only include meeting visiting vessels and allocating them a suitable mooring, but also contributing to the maintenance of the deep water and foreshore moorings and harbour infrastructure. Most importantly, you will be directly contributing to the excellent reputation of Salcombe as a friendly and safe harbour.

You are a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced small boat handler (RYA powerboat level 2 or greater) and have excellent customer service skills. You are computer literate, good at maths and handling cash, and you're flexible enough to occasionally work long or unsocial hours, including a limited number of weekends.
