Full Council

Full Council meetings consist of all 31 District Councillors.

Executive (Exec)

The Executive meets regularly to discuss key issues and make recommendations to Full Council.

Overview and Scrutiny Committee

Overview and Scrutiny Committee monitors decisions taken by the Executive.

Audit and Governance Committee

The Audit and Governance Committee meet four times a year to review and approve the Annual Accounts, as well as other roles.

Development Management Committee

Meets approximately every four weeks to decide planning applications.

Site Inspection Group

The purpose of the site visit is to enable Members to view a planning application in the local context.

Licensing Committee and Sub Committee

Meets at least once a year to determine licensing applications.

Salcombe Harbour Board

Improving, maintaining and managing the Salcombe-Kingsbridge Estuary.

Council Tax Setting Committee

The Council Tax Setting Committee meet annually in February to approve the Council Tax for the coming tax year.

Budget Advisory Committee

The Budget Advisory Committee meets once a year in January to consider the budget proposals for the forthcoming financial year.
